Meet the Surrey Business Expo Team
They say that behind every successful event is a team that understands business from multiple angles — and Surrey Business Expo is no exception. As Surrey’s long-running and largest B2B expo, its continued growth is driven by four well-known and local individuals who bring together complementary skills, experience, and networks — all focused on delivering real value for exhibitors and visitors alike. Importantly each of them understand the local business economy and how a locally-focused business show can support the Surrey business community.
Paul Bridgland

Paul Bridgland is widely known across Surrey’s business community for his ability to connect people, ideas, and opportunities through his Connects Surrey network. With a strong background in events and regional business development, Paul plays a central role in shaping the Expo’s vision. His deep understanding of the Surrey market ensures the event remains relevant, accessible, and firmly focused on supporting local businesses.
Steve Page
Steve Page is the founder of Surrey Events Professionals and brings extensive experience in networking and relationship-led growth. His strength lies in creating environments where meaningful conversations happen naturally. Steve’s connections across professional services and SME networks help attract high-quality exhibitors and decision-makers, maintaining the Expo’s reputation for productive, commercially valuable engagement.
Hannah Breen
Hannah Breen adds a strong marketing and communications lens to the team. She is an experienced events manager and marketing professional. Hannah`s experience spans brand, audience engagement, and event delivery, She ensures the Expo continues to evolve — both in how it looks and performs. Her focus on visitor experience, creativity, and technology innovation helps to ensure the success of each event.
Paul Marcus
Paul Marcus is best known for his entrepreneurial approach to business during his time at Surrey`s much-loved, local radio station Eagle Radio. He brings a strategic perspective with his experience in the development of partnerships ensuring the Expo attracts organisations that are serious about collaboration, growth, and long-term value.
Why the Collaborative Approach Works
What makes Surrey Business Expo different is not just the scale — it’s the collaborative leadership behind it.
By combining:
- Diverse professional backgrounds
- Strong, diverse business networks
- A shared commitment to Surrey’s business community
As business owners themselves, they understand that the shows needs to evolve and last year saw the introduction of structured networking opportunities and open networking lounges, which increased the average time people spent at the show by more than 20%. Meanwhile, the introduction of smart QR codes for registered visitors, simplified the task of connecting and following up conversations and improve lead generation. With bigger, more accessible venue locations confirmed for 2026 and investment in marketing for each event, the shows are expected to see increased attendances too.
If you are interested in the idea of exhibiting your company or organisation at a future show, please contact us and one of our intrepid team members will be happy to arrange for an informal conversation.
